The Salem Hills Park Association received this letter from the Village of Voorheesville with a request to post it on our website for residents: Village LetterJanuary 25, 2008 Dear Neighbor: The fees paid for the use of the sewer facility during 2007 were allocated as follows: Interest: $ 84.04 Maintenance: $ 183.58 Operations: $ 272.38 ANNUAL SEWER CHARGE: $ 540.00 It is my understanding that, as in previous years, the interest and maintenance allocations may be included as a tax among itemized deductions on income tax filings.
